Ergodic Cmos Shift Keying
نویسنده
چکیده
A new method to decode digital information coded onto a chaotic signal is introduced. It is designed for large spreading factors. It is based on the ergodicity of the chaotic system. This allows a partially analytical analysis of the system. An example using a one-dimensional map is elaborated in detail. The performance of this example is not yet competitive with classical systems for an AWGN channel, but much potential for improvement exists. Multiuser communications are possible.

This chapter provides an overview of the state of the art of current chaos communication schemes and introduces the use of signal processing to improve the communication performances. Popular communication schemes in the literature, including chaotic spreading sequence (CSS), chaotic carrier (CC), chaos masking (CM), chaos shift keying (CSK), differential chaos shift keying (DCSK) and chaotic p...
متن کاملDesign of Low Power Bio-Sensor Read-Out Circuit Schemes for Implantable Systems
This paper presents two low-power sensor read-out circuit schemes for implantable biosensor applications. The proposed work presents the design of ASK and FSK schemes in bulk CMOS technology. Either scheme consists of a data generator block and modulator block. The first version of the circuit is designed in a 0.35μm CMOS process and it can generate an amplitude-shift-keying (ASK) signal while ...
متن کاملComparative Studies on the Performance of Low Power Transmitters for Wireless Sensor Nodes
Problem statement: Power consumption was one of the most challenging aspects to design low power wireless sensor nodes. The objectives of the study were to (i) Design low voltage, low power transmitters for wireless sensor nodes and (ii) Compare and analyze the performance of the transmitters. Approach: The transmitters employed direct digital modulation scheme to reduce the power consumption o...
متن کاملOptimum Power Allocation over Fading Channels in Cognitive Radio Mimo Networks
A cognitive radio (CR) is a transceiver which automatically detects the available unused channels in the wireless spectrum. A cognitive radio network (CRN) is formed by either allowing the secondary users (SUs) to coexist with the primary users (PUs) or enabling the SUs to use the unoccupied portion of the spectrum. In this paper, the ergodic capacity maximization problem is studied in Rayleigh...
